Nestled in the heart of Birmingham's Southside, the Cobb Lane Carriage House has been a must-see in Birmingham for over one hundred years. Birmingham's oldest carriage house is now opening its doors for everyone to enjoy. The Cobb Lane Carriage House was fully renovated in 2007 by Robert and Ashley Thompson. The renovation focused on infusing a modern aesthetic into a 100 year old building. The Carriage House features stained concrete floors (the actual floors of the original carriage house), pecky cypress ceilings, rough hewn oak beams, and dramatic lighting. The original locations of the carriage doors were filled with tall windows allowing the space to be flooded with natural light from sun-up to sun-down. When planning your special event, you need to find the perfect place to make it memorable. The Carriage House is now available to rent for all your event needs:
